Hello and a warm welcome back to my blog. This month’s topic is mouth watering, crunchy and delicious. It is a treat inspired from my mother’s recipe, that’s now a staple in my home too. Do you, or your toddlers, fancy something savoury and crunchy but don’t want store bought crackers, full of ingredients you can't pronounce? I’ve got you covered with my healthy homemade seed crackers, that are the perfect nutritious snack for you and your toddler's lunch box. Packed full with seeds, water, salt to taste… and that’s it!
When cooking these, I find it great to get my toddler involved in the kitchen, as this recipe is super simple and easy. I love watching her get excited and develop a healthy relationship with nutritious food so young. My 20 month old daughter does all the scooping, pouring, mixing and …eating of the recipe. Then I'll take charge when it comes to the oven to avoid any potential accidents.
